Barlow family from Frome take top places at Shearwater Sailing Club

A Frome family topped the bill at Shearwater Sailing Club’s annual Alkmar Trophy on Sunday.

Lois and Chris Barlow just pipped their daughter Amy to first place in winds described as “fresh to frightening”.

Dear Fellow Sailors,

Shearwater wita nowych członków!

A huge thank you to Nic Cross for all he does for the club, and to him and the Devereux's for running a great race last night. We had 12 boats on the water and over 20 members enjoying the fun and the lovely weather. Bring on the summer!

As you know, its Roadford this weekend. There is also Social Sailing at Shearwater this Sunday although we haven't been able to find someone to do the safety boat. I will be on hand from 12...
